SUMMARY:Canada's British Home Children and Child Migrants Almost Forgotten...Almost
DESCRIPTION:Between 1869 and 1948\, over 100\,000 children between the ages of 1 and 18 were sent to Canada from Great Britain as indentured farm labourers and domestic servants.  Their average age was 12.  Many were sent to Saskatchewan and many moved here as adults.  All contributed to the building of our communities. \nPresented by Susan Hillman Brazeau.
