The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society Inc. (SGS) is a registered non-profit organization and a registered Canadian Charity. SGS was founded in 1969 and incorporated on April 20, 1970. The mission of the organization is to provide expertise and assistance to people to help them participate in family history research, and to collect, preserve and deliver Saskatchewan specific genealogical records and materials. SGS has one of the largest genealogical lending libraries in Canada. The SGS has branches throughout the province, approximately 675 members, and numerous volunteers.

The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society welcomes anyone with an interest in genealogy and family history.
Memberships are for the calendar year with full and half-year memberships available. They can be purchased online, by mail, or in person. You can buy a membership to one of our branches at the same time.

The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (SGS) publishes the Bulletin three times per year – April, August and December.
